CORTLAND — Kara Simwale had a hat trick as NRCS defeated Cortland 9-0 in NYPenn girls’ soccer action Tuesday.

Elizabeth Gorsline added two goals, with Anna Glantz, Seija Gorsline, Magnolia Glance and Saydie Cubbedge also scoring. 

Simwale, Rose Glantz, Elizabeth Gorsline, Seija Gorsline, Anna Glanze, and Magnolia Glantz each had an assist as well.

Cara Glantz got the clean sheet, as she saved one shot.

NRCS had a 44-1 shots on goal edge, and an 18-1 edge in corner kicks.

Simwale started the scoring 1:21 into the match, as Elizabeth then made it 2-0 off an Anna Glantz assist 8:14 into the match.

Elizabeth Gorsline added another goal at the 16:30 mark, with Rose Glantz then scoring off an Elizabeth Gorsline helper at the 24:04 mark.

Back to back goals by Anna Glantz and Cubbedge made it a 6-0 lead at the half for NRCS.

Seija Gorsline started the scoring 1:29 into the second half followed by a Simwale goal at 24:45. Simwale then finished off the hat trick with 5:30 left in the match.
