NYPENN GIRLS' SOCCER: NRCS FALLS TO CENTRAL BAPTIST (2021-10-25)

TOWANDA — North Rome Christian School came up short to Central Baptist 5-1 in their season finale Monday, which they played under the lights at Towanda’s Endless Mountains Stadium.

Central Baptist out shot NRCS 21-9 and had a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

Kara Simwale had the team’s goal off an assist from Elizabeth Gorsline. Paige Weiss had four goals for Central Baptist.

Cara Glantz made 15 saves for NRCS.

Central Baptist scored two quick goals to go up 2-0, which was the halftime score.

They would do the same during the start of the second half to take a 4-0 lead. Simwale broke through 11:16 into the second half to cut it to 4-1, but a Weiss goal a few minutes later made it the 5-1 final.
