TOWANDA — The Lady Knight hoops squad was back at it on Monday as they get ready to defend their NTL Division-I title this season.

They return two of their top starters, but had to say goodbye to several key seniors - including three starters.

“We’ve got some big shoes to fill,” Towanda coach Rob Gentile said.

Regardless, Towanda has high hopes for this year’s team.

“We’re a little low on numbers, but everybody that’s with us has been here,” Gentile said. “They know what we do, they know how we do it, so we’ve just got to work on getting better.”
