NTL BASEBALL: TROY FALLS TO HUGHESVILLE IN NON-LEAGUE ACTION (2022-05-13)

EAST TROY – Troy fell to Hughesville, 9-1, during non-league baseball action Friday.

The Spartans jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the first two innings, then added three in the sixth, and another in the seventh. 

Troy’s run came in the bottom of the seventh as they held off the shutout.

Camden Allen (2-for-3) led Troy at the plate, while Malachi Walter took the loss. Shane Austin also saw action on the mound.

Troy (6-11) has three games left - Sayre on Monday, Sullivan County on Tuesday, and at Towanda on Wednesday.
