NTL TRACK & FIELD: CANTON HAS A PAIR OF MEDALISTS AT DISTRICTS (2022-05-21)
Northern Tier Sports ReportWILLIAMSPORT — Canton had a pair of district medalists on Saturday, during the final day of the District IV Track and Field Championships.
Kyle Kapichok (134-feet, 11-inches) was seventh in the discus, while Camille McRoberts (5:36.97) took eighth in the 1600.
McRoberts (2:29.68) was also ninth in the 800, while the girls’ 4x400 relay of McRoberts, Kendall Kitchen, Laci Niemczyk, and Kali Wesneski took 10th in 4:24.75.
Kitchen (8-feet, 6-inches) was 14th in the pole vault, with Isaiah Niemczyk (54.02) taking 16th in the 400. Niemczyk was 17th in the triple jump at 37-feet, 5 1/2-inches.
Caiden Williams was 14th in the discus at 111-feet, 7-inches, while taking 21st in the high jump at 5-feet, 5-inches.
