SOARING CAPITALS BRING HOME A COUPLE TITLES (2022-07-01)

The Soaring Capital girls’ U16 Rebels won the U16 Thruway League President Division title with an unbeaten record of 5-0-3 and the Rebels Red won the UCSA U16G Division Title with a record of 3-0-1.

The Rebels won the Thruway League title with a 1-0 win on Thursday in Rochester, with Emily Klotz of Elmira scoring the only goal in the game.

The Soaring Capital girls have a number of local girls on the team.

The roster of the two teams includes Ava Fairbrother of Horseheads, Ava Rumsey of Elmira, Annamary Slocum of Wyalusing (Pa), Amaya Hoffman of Hornell, Allyson Perry of Horseheads, Caitlyn Slavin of Horseheads and Caroline Horton of Notre Dame.

Chloe Harwood of Hornell, Elaina Prieto of Troy, Klotz, Emma Kamas of Horseheads, Erica Bancroft of Horseheads, Jaden O'Hara of Hornell, Jordyn Lunger of Horseheads, Julia Spahalski of Watkins Glen, Kylie Stickler of Elmira, Lauren Tournour of Horseheads, Leah Krelie of Bath, Lilly Rice of Elmira, Madison Hughes of Bradford, Mari May of Horseheads, Marloe Laughlin of Horseheads, Marney Durr of Horseheads, Natalie Williams of Horseheads, Olivia Garvin of Horseheads, Sloane Moss of Elmira, Triesta Sprague of Bath and Zoey McClelland of Notre Dame are all part of the teams.
