LITTLE LEAGUE: TOWANDA MAJORS SOFTBALL COMES IN 2ND DURING BRACKET PLAY (2022-07-03)
Northern Tier Sports Report WYSOX — It was a tough end to a strong tournament for a shorthanded Towanda team, as they lost to Tunkhannock twice to come in second during Majors softball all-star bracket championship action Sunday.
Towanda lost both games 15-0 in three innings as they were missing four players for the most of both games.
In the first game Ily Benjamin and Natalie Bump each had a hit, while Kendal Cook struck out three in the circle.
In the second Haleigh Lineburg had a first inning hit, and reached third base, but was stranded there.
