SILVER BULLETS BLACK GET THREE WINS AT TOURNEY (2022-08-05)

The Silver Bullets Black 12U team went 3-2-1 during tournament play this past weekend.

They opened things with a 3-3 tie of Cap City Force, followed by two wins against Minster Ohio Fury (8-0) and Lady Rebels Hurron (13-0). 

They lost to the London Dream 3-2, but came back to beat the Ohio Scarlet and Gray, 12-6. In their final game they lost 8-0 to the Ohio Outlaws.

In the tied contest the Bullets were down 3-0 going into the bottom of the seventh when they scored three runs to knot it up.

Leila Cobb went 1-for-3 with a double, and 2-RBI, while going the distance in the circle with six strikeouts. Jaylee Ward went 1-for-3 with a run scored.

In the win over Minster Ohio Fury Ward went 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Haidyn Watson and Cobb each scored a run, and drove one in. Ward pitched for two innings, striking out three.

In the win over the Lady Rebels Watson went 2-for-3 with a double, 4-RBI, and two runs scored, while Cobb was 1-for-2. Ward scored a run, as well.

Cobb got the win, striking out six.

In the 3-2 loss to the Dream Watson went 1-for-3 with a run scored.

In their win over the Ohio Scarlet and Gray Watson went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run scored, and an RBI, while Cobb was 2-for-3 with a double and 2-RBI. Ward went 1-for-3 with 2-RBI, and three runs scored.

Cobb got the win, striking out two.

In the loss to the Ohio Outlaws Cobb took the loss.
