NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: WYALUSING GIRLS 2ND AT LASAGNA INVITE (2022-09-17)
Northern Tier Sports ReportWYALUSING — Kayla Beebe’s third place finish led Wyalusing to a second place team finish at their annual Lasagna Invitational on Friday.
The Rams scored 47 points, behind NEB (28), while well ahead of Elk Lake (76), NP-Mansfield (90), and Towanda (103).
Kayla Beebe ran 21:30.2, while teammate Megan King (22:24.4) was ninth. Laina Beebe (22:58.6) came in 12th, Riley Porter (23:03) was 13th, and Kassandra Kerin (23:46.5) took 15th to round out their top five.
Wyalusing sported the tightest 1-through-5 spread in 2:16.3.
The boys’ team took fourth with 70 points, just 10 behind winners NEB (60), Towanda (64) was second, followed by Elk Lake (65), with Northwest (89) fifth.
Jeremy Clauser (18;13.6) and Trennan Tewksbury (18:20.4) went fifth and sixth to lead the Rams, as Jake Caplan (19:34.2) came in 16th. Clayton Petlock 919:46) was 18th, while Landen Kaufmann (20:57.9) rounded out their top five in 26th.
In the girls’ junior high race Alysha Botts (12:24.8) and Camryn Gesford (12:44) were sixth and seventh.
Wyalusing’s Aiden Neiley (10:34.5) won the junior high boy’s race as the Rams took the team title with 44 points, just ahead of Elk Lake (47).
Brayden Johns on (11:49.2) and Parker Cunningham (11:54.5) were eighth and ninth.
