NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: NEB SWEEPS CANTON (2022-09-20)
Northern Tier Sports ReportCANTON — Northeast Bradford swept Canton in NTL cross-country action on Tuesday.
The Lady Panthers won the girls’ race 19-37, behind Gracelyn Laudermilch taking the top spot in 21:00. Canton’s Camille McRoberts (22:20) was second, followed by four Panthers: Anaiah Kolesar (23:15), Lilah Hughes (23:17), Amelia Kapr (23:19), and Melanie Shumway (25:14).
Canton’s Kali Wesneski (25:59) was seventh, followed by teammate Lacey Niemczyk (26:05) in eighth. Fellow Warrior Emmie Tymeson (26:38) took ninth, while Jazmyn Hickok (28:49) rounded out their top five in 11th.
In the boys’ race NEB won 15-50 as they took the top seven spots, led by Creed Dewing (18:41) in first. Ryan Jones (19:42) took second, Dayton Russell (21:03) was third, Aidan Kapr (21:04) took fourth, and Tanner Herb (21:07) rounded out their scorers in fifth.
For Canton, Brayden Vroman (21:33) led the way with an eighth place finish, while Lawrence Halbfoerster (21:40) was ninth. Simon Wile (22:06) took 10th, Hunter Brackman (23:13) finished 14th, and Hunter Huffman (24:05) was 16th.
NEB’s Jackson Martin (9:52) won the junior high race for the boys, while Kara Dughi (10:19) took the junior high race for girls.
