NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: WYALUSING GIRLS EARN A SWEEP IN SULLIVAN COUNTY (2022-09-20)
Northern Tier Sports ReportLAPORTE — The Wyalusing girls earned a sweep, beating Sullivan County (15-46) and CV (16-43) during NTL cross-country action Tuesday.
The Rams went 1-through-4 led by Kayla Beebe (23:26), followed by Megan King (25:09), Laina Beebe (25:39), and Kasey Kerin (25:55). Ram Kira Allen (26:45) rounded out their top five.
On the boys’ side Wyalusing defeated Sullivan County 18-45, but lost to CV 17-44.
The Indians took the top four spots, led by Kristian Mizdail (18:42) as the overall winner.
Wyalusing’s Trennan Tewksbury (20:30) was fifth, followed by teammate Jeremy Clauser (20:30) in sixth.
Landen Kaufmann (22:06) took 11th, with Clayton Petlock (22:12) 12th. Rounding out the Rams was Jake Caplan (22:36) in 14th.
In junior high action Wyalusing’s Aiden Neiley won the boys’ race in 10:43, while Alysha Botts (12:25) won the girls’ race.
The Lady Rams beat CV 23-32, and Sullivan 25-30. The Wyalusing boys lost to Sullivan 28-29
