A busy day with soccer, volleyball, and even some girls’ tennis, weather permitting.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
NEB (6-2) at Williamson (3-3-1), 4 p.m.: The Panthers head west for their first game against Williamson. The Warriors have proven to be a feisty opponent, including an overtime win over Meadowbrook Christian.
NP-Mansfield (1-7) at Troy (8-2), 4 p.m.: The Trojans are coming off a big win over Towanda, while the Tigers will be looking to break a 5-match losing streak.
Wellsboro (4-3) at Wyalusing (7-3), 4 p.m.: The Rams will be looking to rebound from their loss against Athens, while the Hornets are coming off a 1-0 win over Williamson.
Athens (3-5) at Towanda (1-5-1), 6 p.m.: The annual Black Knight Pink Game, where they’re raising money to help a local fan battle cancer. Towanda is coming off a loss at Troy, while the Wildcats edged Wyalusing at home.
VOLLEYBALL
Athens (3-2) at Wyalusing (6-3), 7:15 p.m.: A big Large School title, as the Rams are coming off a second place finish at the Tunkhannock Tournament. The Wildcats’ recently lost to Williamson.
Canton (5-1) at Wellsboro (6-3), 7:15 p.m.: The Warriors will hit the road as they look to rebound from a loss at NPL. The Hornets recently dropped a match at Williamsport.
CV (0-8) at Towanda (1-5), 7:15 p.m.: The Knights will be looking to bounce back from their loss at NEB, while the Indians are searching for their first win of the season.
Williamson (5-2) at Troy (3-3), 7:15 p.m.: The Trojans are riding a 2-match win streak, while the Warriors come in on a 5-match win streak.
GIRLS’ TENNIS
Towanda (1-10) at Wellsboro (1-10), 4 p.m.: The Knights dropped a close on at home against the Hornets as the two teams lock up again, this time in Wellsboro.
