NTL GIRLS' SOCCER: TOWANDA FALLS TO WELLSBORO ON LATE GOAL (2022-09-27)

TOWANDA — Towanda lost another heartbreaker to Wellsboro, falling 1-0 on late goal during NTL girls’ soccer action Tuesday.

The Knights out shot Wellsboro 10-6, with both teams getting five corner kicks each. Clara Glantz came up five saves in net for Towanda.

The winning goal came off the foot of Sarah Seeling with 6:05 left to play in the second half.

Towanda will travel to NP-Mansfield on Thursday with a 4 p.m. start.
