FOOTBALL
Canton vs Steel-High at Shamokin, 7 p.m.: A battle of the top two ranked teams in the states (Steel-High is one, Canton is two) for the right to go to the state title game. The Warriors won last year’s match-up 32-27, and this one looks to be just as tight.
GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
Loyalsock at Towanda, 7:15 p.m.: A rematch of last year’s district title game. The Knights will be looking to get their season off to a strong start in this home opener.
Canton at Liberty Tournament: The Canton girls’ basketball team will start their season as they head out west to the NPL tournament.
NEB at Millville Tournament: NEB will begin their title defense against Danville at 6 p.m tonight. They beat the Lady Ironmen last year in the opener.
BOYS’ BASKETBALL
Benton at Troy, 7:15 p.m.: The Trojans will start their season off at home as they welcome the Tigers for a non-league contest.
Wyalusing vs Blue Ridge at Susquehanna, 7:30 p.m.: The new look Rams will make their annual trek to the Bradford-Susquehanna Challenge.
WRESTLING
NEB at Williamson, 7 p.m.: The Panthers get on the mat quickly as they travel out west for a league match agains the Warriors.
