ON TAP TODAY: ANOTHER ROUND OF GIRLS' HOOPS (2023-01-18)

Northern Tier Sports Report
It’s a girl’s hoops day as NTL cross-over continues.

NEB (9-2) at Athens (8-4), 7:15 p.m.: The Panthers will look to keep their win streak going as they take on the Wildcats on the road. Athens is third in the Division-I standings, and a win here would help get them back on track. NEB is leading the Small School and Class AA standings.

Wyalusing (5-7) at NP-Mansfield (1-12), 6 p.m.: The two teams battled to an epic triple overtime game during Christmas break. The Rams are hoping to end a 2-game losing streak.

Wellsboro (4-8) at Canton (7-7), 6 p.m.: The Warriors continue to tread water as they await the return of their point guard, Kendall Kitchen. The Hornets will need to string a few wins together if they’re going to get back into the district race.

Troy (8-4) at CV (4-9), 7:15 p.m.: The Trojans are coming off a tough loss at home to Shamokin, and will look to keep pace with Towanda behind a league win.

NPL (6-7) at Towanda (8-3), 7:15 p.m.: The Knights saw their 3-game win streak snapped at Williamsport on Monday. Now they’ll look to keep their tight hold on the league in tonight’s match-up.
