NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: NEB FALLS AT LEAGUE LEADING NP-MANSFIELD (2023-01-21)

MANSFIELD — NEB lost to NP-Mansfield 64-29 during NTL boys’ basketball action Saturday.

The Tigers jumped out to a 15 point first quarter lead and never looked back in the win.

Brayden Miller had eight points to lead the Panthers, with Dillon Donnelly scoring six. Josh Stanton added five, Drew Beers netted four, while Joe Stanton, Eli Stanton, and Cayden McPherson had two points each.

Karson Dominick had 19 points to lead NP-Mansfield.

Dominick led the Tigers with 10 first quarter points as they jumped out to a 23-8 lead. Miller netted five to lead NEB.

The Panthers saw Donnelly hit two 3-balls in the second, but NPM still out scored them, getting 16 points in the quarter to take a 39-19 lead at the half.

In the third the Tigers held NEB to just two points as they built a 56-21 lead.

NEB will travel to Towanda on Monday with a 7:15 p.m. start.
