NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: FOUR PLAYERS HIT DOUBLE FIGURES AS TROY TOPS WILLIAMSON (2023-01-24)

TROY — All 10 players who got into the game for Troy scored in their 90-13 win over Williamson during NTL boys’ basketball action Tuesday.

The win clinches a playoff spot for Troy.


The Trojans had 31 assists on their 40 made baskets as they jumped out to a 32-1 first quarter lead.


JB Burbage led four Troy players in double figures with 22 points to go with five boards, and three assists. 


Justice Chimics had 14 points and three assists, while Joseph Frye added 13 points, four boards, three assists, and two steals.


Evan Woodward added 12 points with five steals, as Colin Loveland had eight points, four assists, and two steals. Lance Heasley added six points, six boards, four assists, and four steals, with Jackson Taylor getting five points, eight assists, three steals, and five boards.


Eason Teribury netted four points, with Lincoln Chimics and Trevon Teribury getting three points apiece. Lincoln also had two steals.


The Trojans hit nine 3-pointers on the day.


Nine different players scored for Troy in the first quarter, led by seven from Justice and six out of Frye. The Trojans hit five 3-pointers in the frame.


They added 24 more points in the second as Burbage went off for 10. Burbage added six more in the third, while Loveland, Heasley, and Burbage all had four points in their 18-point fourth quarter.


Troy (11-5) will travel to Wyalusing on Thursday.
