ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: WYALUSING'S MORNINGSTAR, NEB'S LAUDERMILCH STAR THIS WEEK (2023-01-29)

There were a number of big performances this week, and even a milestone this week, despite some weather interruptions. 

On the boys’ side Wyalusing’s Blake Morningstar earned his 1,000th career point, and did it with some big performances. He had 42 against Sayre, 26 versus Troy, and 25 against Canton, earning himself the Male Athlete of the Week honors.

On the girls’ side NEB’s Gracelyn Laudermilch had a strong performance at the CSU Run at the Rec, taking first in the 1600 with a sub-5:30 performance, and finishing third in the 800. That’s good enough to be the Female Athlete of the Week.
