NTL TRACK & FIELD: NEB EXCITED TO BE GEARING UP FOR THE SEASON (2023-03-15)

ROME — NEB track and field is back at it, with even more numbers than last season, as they look to keep the program going forward.

“I’m extremely excited,” said NEB coach Michele Cowles. “We’re pushing 40 for varsity, 15-16 for junior high. A lot of great talent, a lot of newbies - we have no seniors - so we have a young team, but a team has great experience, and capabilities.”

They sent two athletes to states a year ago, and hope to keep that going into 2023.
