NTL SWIMMING & DIVING: TOWANDA CONTINUES TO PROGRESS IN 2022/2023 (2023-03-18)

The Towanda swimming teams took a few steps forward this season.

The boys squad picked up dual meet wins over to Jersey Shore, Bloomsburg, and Lewisburg as they saw their numbers improve.

At districts they saw Nate Spencer get two top 10 performances, while Luke Tavani and Alex Lantz also finished in the top 10.

For the girls Marisa Wise was able to get a top 10 performance at districts, as well.

Wise, along with Juliana Varner, paced the girls’ team.

Going forward the Knights will say good-bye to Spencer and Tavani on the boys’ side, along with Varner and Zoie Lamphere on the girls’ team.

However, the boys return four more swimmers, including district qualifiers Lantz and Eric McGee, while Wise will be back on the girls’ side.
