COLLEGE: TROY GRAD HUNTER KENDALL PITCHING WELL FOR HOUGHTON COLLEGE (2023-04-17)

Troy graduate Hunter Kendall has led Houghton College to wins in four of his last five starts, including a 4-2 win over Keuka College this past weekend.

Kendall is currently 3-2 on the year with a 2.59 ERA with 58 strikeouts against 27 walks in 41 2/3-innings of work.

In his last start, the win over Keuka, he went five innings to strikeout four, walk two, and allow just three hits and no runs.

On March 21 Kendall was also named the E8 Pitcher of the Week after a 12-2 win over Hilbert where he allowed just six hits, and two runs, while striking out five in six innings of work.

Kendall also earned E8 Pitcher of the Week honors on Monday for his 12 innings of work over two starts during the week. He didn't allow an earned run, with five hits, four walks, and 15 strikeouts as Houghton won both games.
