NTL TRACK & FIELD: NEB'S LAUDERMILCH 16TH IN THE 1600 AT STATES (2023-05-26)

SHIPPENSBURG — Northeast Bradford’s Gracelyn Laudermilch came up short of the medals at the PIAA Track and Field Championships on Friday.

She took 16th overall in the 1600 at 5:25.79, which was good enough for 10th in her heat.

Laudermilch sat right around the edge of the medals for most of the race, coming through the 800 in 2:31.14. However, she slowed down for a 1:21.02 third lap, then finished off with a 1:34.63 last lap.

The sophomore will have another chance at a state medal Saturday morning in the 3200. She comes in as the third seed.
