LITTLE LEAGUE: TROY DROPS SECTIONAL OPENER TO JERSEY SHORE (2023-07-14)
Northern Tier Sports ReportROME — Troy dropped a tough 5-0 game to Jersey Shore in the Sectional winner’s bracket on Thursday.
Blaklee Brown had 12 strikeouts for Troy in the game. It was a 1-0 contest until the sixth inning, when Jersey Shore pushed four runs across.
Ally Allen and Millie Pepper both reached base for Troy.
Troy will face Snyder County in the elimination bracket on Friday with a 5:30 p.m. start.
