NTL GOLF: WYALUSING TRAVELS TO SHEPARD HILLS FOR SEASON OPENER (2023-08-16)

WAVERLY, N.Y. — Wyalusing traveled to Shepard Hills for the NTL golf opener, which was hosted by Sayre, Wednesday.

Wyalusing was third at Shepard Hills, finishing with 361 aggregate score out of their top four players, right behind NP-Mansfield (353). Athens (319) won, with Wellsboro (370) fourth, CV (372) fifth, Towanda (381) sixth, and Sayre (546) seventh.

Nick Salsman led the way, shooting an 80 for fourth overall. He had 10 pars on the day.

Kaeden Kusmierz shot an 87 for 12th overall, he seven pars, and a birdie on the par-5 fifth hole.

Conner Smith and Ashton VanDeMark both shot 97. Smith had three pars, and VanDeMark had two pars and birdie on the par-3 third hole.

Matt Spencer shot 107 with one par and Hunter House scored 111, also with one par.
