NTL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: NEB ROLLS PAST WILLIAMSON FOR FIRST WIN (2021-01-12)
Northern Tier Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — Northeast Bradford rebounded from their opening season loss to Athens with a 56-27 win over Williamson in NTL Division-II girls’ basketball action Tuesday.
They used defensive pressure to subdue the Warriors, nabbing 15 steals in the contest.
Kayleigh Thoman had 13 points and five steals while Lauryn Jones added 12 points, seven steals and four rebounds.
Maisie Neuber had 12 points and four boards while Alena Beebe had 10 points as well.
Emma Neuber chipped in with five points and two blocks while Lani Thomas and Julia Brown had two points a piece.
Kate O’Connor nabbed eight rebounds in the game for the Panthers.
NEB has a big divisional contest on Thursday as they travel to Canton for a 6 p.m. start.
