NTL GOLF: TOWANDA FINISHES SEASON STRONG AT TOMASSO'S (2023-09-26)

CHEMUNG, N.Y. — Towanda had their best finish of the season in NTL golf action, taking third at Tomasso’s on Monday.

The Knights shot 360, behind Athens (328) and Wyalusing (345). CV (365) was fourth, Wellsboro (392) took fifth, NP-Mansfield (393) finished sixth, and Sayre (591) came in seventh.

Three different Knights broke 90, led by Teagan Irish’s 83. He had four pars, plus two birdies - one on the par-4 12 and one on the par-4 16 - en route to the top six finish.

Graham Welles finished with an 84 as he had seven pars, while Carson Glantz shot 87 with six pars.

Owen Lane carded a 106 with two pars, Tommy Bowen shot a 115 with one par, and Lucas Vincent notched a 121 with one par, as well.

Towanda will have golfers competing at the district qualifier on Wednesday.
