NTL VOLLEYBALL: TROY ROLLS PAST ATHENS (2023-09-26)

TROY — Troy volleyball earned a 3-0 sweep of Athens during NTL action Tuesday.

The Trojans won the games 25-14, 25-16, and 29-27.

Josie Kerrick had seven kills, seven digs, one block, two assists, and two aces, while Marlee Stanton added seven kills, one assist, three digs, and three aces.

Aryana Andrus had nine kills to go with two aces, one dig, and two blocks, while Kali Ayres had four kills, 12 assists, seven digs, and six aces.

Brenna Jackson had four kills, eight assists, three digs, and four aces, with Amber White getting one kill, three digs, one assist, and two aces.

Lexi Kjellander chipped in with three digs, as well.

Troy lost the JV match 25-11 and 17-10.

Camryn Barbour had four kills, three digs, a block, and one assist for the Trojans, as Raegan Comstock notched two kills,  a dig, and five assists.

Alli Bailey had two kills, and three digs, with an assist, while Peyton Jennings had a kill.

Bianka Alexander, Taylor Brown, and Bella Wood each had an ace. Brown also had a dig, as Hailey Watson chipped in with a dig and a block.

Troy hosts Towanda on Thursday.
