A mix of soccer and volleyball today with eight contests on the slate.

VOLLEYBALL

Towanda (5-6) at Troy (6-4), 7 p.m.: A match-up of the sixth and seventh ranked teams in the District IV, Class AA standings. The Knights are coming off a tough loss to Williamson while Troy has won two straight.


NEB (9-0) at Sayre (0-8), 6 p.m.: The Panthers defeated Canton to stay undefeated while the Redskins are still searching for their first win.


Canton (3-7) at CV (3-8), 7 p.m.: The Warriors have lost their last four contests while CV has won two of their last three.


Wellsboro (6-5) at Wyalusing (3-7), 7 p.m.: The Hornets have won two of three recently, while the Rams saw their 3-match win streak ended at NPL on Tuesday.


GIRLS’ SOCCER

Wyalusing (9-3) at NEB (2-5), 4 p.m.: The Rams will look to bounce back from their loss at Troy, while the Panthers are hoping to end their 5-game losing streak. Wyalusing pulled out a 2-1 win in their last meeting.


Troy (8-3-1) at Athens (5-4), 5:30 p.m.: The Trojans stayed undefeated in the league with their win over Wyalusing on Tuesday while the Wildcats stayed one game behind in their win over NEB. Troy won the first match-up 2-1.


Towanda (5-6) at Wellsboro (3-7), 5:30 p.m.: The Knights have clawed back towards .500 with their win over Williamson, while the Hornets are coming off a win over NPM. Towanda won the first match-up 2-1.


BOYS’ SOCCER

Towanda (2-8) at Wellsboro (8-2), 7 p.m.: A night game for the Knights as they hit the road. The first meeting between the two teams with the Hornets riding a four match win streak while Towanda has lost six in a row.
