NTL GIRLS' SOCCER: DUNN GETS HAT TRICK, TOWANDA ROLLS PAST WELLSBORO (September 28, 2023)

WELLSBORO — Towanda earned their fifth straight win, beating Wellsboro 4-0 during NTL girls’ soccer action Thursday.

Anna Dunn recorded another hat trick - all in the first half - while Kathryn Dunn scored a penalty kick in the second half for the 4-0 lead. Mya Savercool had an assist for the Knights, while Mya Maynard drew the foul that led to Kathryn Dunn’s penalty.

Towanda out shot Wellsboro 24-8, with both teams getting two corner kicks. 

Clara Glantz made seven saves to get the clean sheet. 

The Knights have clawed their way back to 6-6 and will travel to Athens next Tuesday.
