ROME — A Melanie Shumway goal was the difference in NEB’s 1-0 win over Sullivan County during non-league girls’ soccer action Friday.

Shumway scored off a Mallorie Maynard assist.

NEB had a 20-18 edge in shots and 6-2 advantage in corner kicks. Leah Beebe made nine saves in net to get the clean sheet.

The Panthers’ busy week continues as they travel to Meadowbrook Christian on Saturday with a noon start - weather permitting.
