NTL VOLLEYBALL: NEB'S O'CONNOR, TROY'S AYRES EARN MAJOR AWARDS FOR NTL VOLLEYBALL (2023-11-28)

Northern Tier Sports Report
The NTL volleyball coaches selected their all-stars recently with two area players earning major awards.

NEB’s Abby O’Connor was named the Offensive Player of the Year, while Troy’s Kali Ayers was named the Utility Player of the Year.


The NEB coaching staff, led by Vanessa Perez, took home the Coaching Staff of the Year honors, with NPL’s Saige Lehman named Player of the Year, and Wellsboro’s Natalie Cleveland the Defensive Player of the Year.


The Large School first team consists of Troy’s Aryana Andrus, Athens’ Ella Coyle, NPL’s Megan Spohn, Ella Swingle, and Payton Chapel, and Wellsboro’s Lexi Urena and Meredith Brownlee.


The second team is made up of Towanda’s Brooklyn Evans, Troy’s Josie Kerrick, Athens’ Kassie Babcock, NPL’s Hanna Kendall, and Wellsboro’s Taylor Main and Paige Logsdon.


The Small School first team consists of NEB’s Emma Neuber, Kiarra DeLancey, and Gabby Susanj, Williamson’s Taylor Rae Jones, Canton’s Kendall Kitchen, and CV’s Maggie McClaren.


On the second team are NEB’s Toni Herb, Canton’s Chelsea Lehman, Wyalusing’s Kylie Pickett, CV’s Katie Adams, and Williamson’s Bailee Smith, Joelie Stephens, and Raegan VanGorden.
