NTL SWIMMING & DIVING: TOWANDA BOYS, GIRLS FALL TO ATHENS ON THE ROAD (2021-01-19)

ATHENS — The Towanda Black Knights fell to Athens in boys and girls swimming and diving Tuesday.

The boys fell 75-54 while the girls lost 110-51.

For the boys Jaden Wise (25.38) won the 50 free while teammate Joey Donovan (31.03) came in fourth. Donovan won the diving with 124.65 points.

Wise also won the 100 backstroke in 1:08.92 as teammate Eric McGee (1:24.71) came in third.

Nate Spencer (1:30.69) won the 100 breaststroke while their 400 free relay of Wise, Donovan, Spencer and Luke Tavani won in 4:42.44.

The 200 medley relay of Wise, Spencer, Donovan and McGee was seconding 2:21.18.

Tavani (2:29.34) came in second in the 200 free as Spencer (2:38.14) was fourth.

Tavani (1:07.65) was also second in the 100 free as McGee (1:08.93) came in third.

For the girls Juliana Varner (29.13) won the 50 free as teammates Sidney Bride (37.04) and Rylee Martin (41.48) were fourth and sixth.

Varner (1:06.05) won the 100 free as Gannon (1:10.78) was third and Emily Darone (1:27.23) took fifth.

Abby Locke (1:22.75) was second in the 100 backstroke followed by Bride (1:53.95) in third while Zoie Lamphere (7:28.7) was third in the 500 free.

Jordyn Radney (1:27.95) took second in the 100 breaststroke with Jordan Hartmann (1:40.54) fourth.

Lamphere (2:46.79) and Darone (3:26.33) were fourth and fifth in the 200 free.

Their foursome of Gannon, Radney, Hartmann and Locke was second in the 200 medley relay in 2:20.

Varner, Gannon, Locke and Lamphere (2:05.07) were second in the 200 free relay while Radney, Bride, Darone and Rylee Martin took third in 2:27.36.

Gannon, Lamphere, Darone and Bride (5:38.05) was second in the 400 free relay.
