TROY JH HOOPS PICKS UP TWO MORE WINS (2023-12-03)

Troy won a pair of junior high boys’ basketball contests recently.

They defeated NEB 38-19 as Joey Lackey led the way with 10 points. Eli Ayers netted nine, Evan Allen scored six, Spencer Martin and Josiah Peseky had four points apiece, with Landon Cole netting three, and Vinnie Colton rounding things out with two.

The B team came up short.

After that the Troy A team defeated Williamson, 59-2, to improve their record to 8-0.

Martin led the way with 14 points as Parker Brown scored 10. Eli Ayers finished with nine, Lackey and Brody Ayers had six points apiece, Peseky and Levi Randall both notched four, and Allen rounded things out with three.

Troy’s B team tied Williamson at 14-all.
