The first set of NTL girls’ basketball games are today while NEB opens the wrestling season.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Sayre (0-2) at Towanda (0-1), 6 p.m.: No JV contest so varsity starts at 7 p.m. Both teams are coming off rough weekend openers as the Knights start their NTL title defense.

NEB (0-0) at Troy (0-0), 7 p.m.: This game was a thriller last year at NEB, and both teams come in with high hopes for another good season.

Canton (1-1) at Wyalusing (1-1), 7 p.m.: The two teams split their weekend contests, both winning on Saturday before dropping their openers on Friday.

WRESTLING

Blue Ridge (0-0) at NEB (0-0), 7 p.m.: The Panthers open the season at home against the Raiders, one of the better District II programs.
