ON TAP FOR TODAY: THREE BIG NTL HOOPS CONTESTS (January 20, 2021)

Just three games on the docket for Wednesday but all three are big division contests.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Canton (3-1) at Wyalusing (2-0), 6 p.m.: Both teams are near the top of the standings for the NTL Division-II title. The Warriors are coming off their first loss of the season to Wellsboro on Monday while the Rams had their home opener Monday and pulled out a close victory over NP-Mansfield.

Troy (3-0) at Towanda (1-1), 6 p.m.: The Trojans put their undefeated record on the line when as they take on the improved Knights. Troy picked up a non-league win over Northwest to start the week while Towanda lost to NEB by a point.

NEB (1-3) at NP-Liberty (2-0), 6 p.m.: The Panthers get their first shot at the defending NTL Division-II champions. NEB is coming off their first win of the season Monday over Towanda while NPL picked up a win over CV.
