Williamson out scored NEB 11-4 in the second to take a 25-16 halftime lead.

The Panthers got some offense going in the third as they netted 12 points, behind four from Stanton, cutting the deficit to six points.

Then, in the fourth, McPherson and Donnelly went off for seven points each as the Panthers went 9-for-14 from the charity stripe to get the win. McPherson was 5-for-6 himself.

NEB (15-2) still has just one league loss and inches closer to a league title. They host NPM on Saturday, then have a big tilt with CV next Tuesday, the team that’s chasing them.
