A big day on the diamond while on the tennis courts Towanda travels to defending league champions, Wellsboro.

BASEBALL

Troy (1-0) at Wyalusing (1-0), 4:30 p.m.: Both teams are coming off close wins to start the season, Troy 4-2 over Athens, Wyalusing 3-2 against Towanda.


NEB (2-0) at Canton (2-0), 4:30 p.m.: The Panthers are rolling, scoring 21 runs through their first two games. Canton eked out a win over CV on Tuesday, making this a big game in terms of NTL Small School standings.


Towanda (0-1) at NP-Mansfield (1-0), 4:30 p.m.: Towanda showed some fight in their loss to the defending district champions, Wyalusing, while the Tigers are coming off a win over Wellsboro.


SOFTBALL

Towanda (1-0) at NP-Liberty (1-0), 4:30 p.m.: The hot hitting Black Knights will travel to NPL, who opened the season with a 15-0 win over Wellsboro.


Troy (1-0) at Wyalusing (0-1), 4:30 p.m.: Troy held on to beat Athens in their season opener while the Rams are looking for a reset after falling to Towanda in theirs.


NEB (1-0) at Canton (1-2), 4:30 p.m.: NEB pulled out a win over Williamson to start the season while Canton is three games deep into their season, coming off a tough loss to CV.


BOYS’ TENNIS

Towanda (3-0) at Wellsboro (1-2), 4 p.m.: The Knights will put their undefeated record on the line as they travel to Wellsboro. The Hornets are coming off a 5-0 win over Addison, with this being their first league match of the season.
