WYSOX — It was a rough home opener for Towanda as they lost to Elk Lake, 12-0, in six innings during non-league baseball action Friday.

The Knight got no-hit as Jack Tavani and Gianni Assante Di Cupillo both got on with walks. 

Jack Wheaton took the loss, going four innings with two strikeouts, eight hits, one walk, and eight runs scored, two of them earned.

Assante went the final two innings with one strikeout, four walks, four hits, and four earned runs.

Towanda will host Wellsboro next Tuesday.
