NTL TRACK & FIELD: NEB GIRLS THIRD AT NY/PA INVITATIONAL (2024-04-13)

WINDSOR, N.Y. — The NEB girls’ track and field team took third at Windsor’s NY/PA Invitational, crowning two champions in the process.

The Panthers finished with 42 points as Gracelyn Laudermilch won the 3000 and their 4x800 relay also broke the tape. Sidney (67.75) won followed by Oneonta (43.75) in second.


Laudermilch won the 3000 in 10:37.19, and took third in the 1500 in 5:00.10. She teamed with Anaiah Kolesar, Lillie Maynard, and Lilah Hughes in the 4x800 to win in 10:39.61.


Kolesar was third in the 2000 steeplechase in 8:54, while Maynard took sixth in the 800 in 2:37.60. Those two, plus Hughes and Becca VanDeMark, took sixth in the 4x400 in 4:42.69.


Amelia Kapr was fifth in the 400 hurdles in 1:19.84, while Emma Neuber was third in the shot put at 30-feet, 11-inches.


On the boys’ side the 4x800 relay of Brayden Miller, Brody Bennett, Aiden Kapr, and Creed Dewing took third in 8;55.24.


Ayden Finch, Aiden Kapr, Miller, and Dewing took fourth in the 4x400 in 3:47.66.


Aiden Kapr was third in the 400 hurdles at 1:02.69, while Ryan Jones finished sixth in the 3200 in 10:50.83
