NTL TRACK & FIELD: TROY BOYS ROLL TO TRI-MEET WIN; TOWANDA GIRLS, BOYS SECOND (2024-04-16)

TROY — The Troy boys’ track and field team rolled to a tri-meet win on Tuesday. The Trojans scored 113 points, with Towanda and NP-Mansfield tying for second with 38. 

On the girls’ side NPM (75.5) won followed by Towanda (59) edging out Troy (54.5).


For the boys Troy’s Rylan Breidt (47.1) won the 300 hurdles as Towanda’s Aiden Blokzyl (47.48) was second.


Troy’s Camden Coyle (116-feet, 9-inches) won the javelin followed by Towanda’s Kolton McPeak (113-feet, 6-inches) and Trojan Avery Sens (112-feet, 3-inches).


Troy won the 4x800 in 9:15.76.


Blokzyl (18.95) won the 110 hurdles with Breidt (19.20) second, while Towanda’s Matthias Lindquist (20.98) came in third.


The Trojans went 1-2 in the 100 with Charles Oldroyd (11.65) and Ben Warburton (11.69) while Towanda’s Michael Ferrulli (12.18) came in third.


Troy’s Evan Geer (4:51.77) and Hart Houseknecht (5:11.18) went 2-3 in the 1600.


The Trojan 4x100 relay won in 45.36, while Jacob Hinman (54.20) and Mason Wulff (54.61) went 1-2 in the 400. Wulff (2:16.29) and Geer (2:22.12) went 2-3 in the 800.


Hinman (23.59) won the 200 followed by Towanda’s Joey Weinman (25.04). Troy went 1-2 in the 3200 with Brody Campbell (11:33.92) and Houseknecht (11.41.96), as Towanda’s Jacob Carr (11:45.57) came in third.


Troy’s 4x400 relay won in 3:41.03.


Trojans Kendrick Ross (5-feet, 8-inches) and Cameron Morey (5-feet, 8-inches) went 2-3 in the high jump.


Towanda went 1-2 in the pole vault with Jace Gunther (9-feet, 6-inches) and Wyatt Stranger (9-feet) as Troy’s Houseknecht and Ben Osgood both tied for third at 9-feet.


Sens (48-feet, 2 1/2-inches) won the shot put with Towanda’s Varrius Farrell (42-feet, 10 1/2-inches) second. Trojan Cooper Watkins (37-feet, 11-inches) was third.


Sens (111-feet, 4-inches) won the discus followed by Farrell (101-feet, 9-inches) while Coyle (98-feet, 2-inches) came in third.


Troy went 1-2 in the long jump with Colin Loveland (20-feet, 6-inches) and Warburton (20-feet, 4 1/2-inches). Ferrulli (19-feet, 9-inches) came in third.


Troy went 1-2-3 in the triple jump with Loveland (40-feet, 6 1/2-inches), Breidt (35-feet, 7-inches), and Noah Gowin (35-feet, 1-inch).


On the girls’ side Troy went 1-2 in the 300 hurdles with Alyssa Parks (50.06) and Kylee Roy (51.91) while Towanda’s Karis Flynn (55.43) came in third.


Troy’s Madelyn Seeley (96-feet, 1-inch) won the javelin with Towanda’s Mya Maynard (85-feet) and Kaitlyn Nonnemacher (83-feet) second and third.


Roy (17.73) won the 100 hurdles followed by Towanda’s Katelyn Blokzyl (18.51) and Flynn (19.07). Troy’s Ellie Spalding (14.01) was third in the 100.


Towanda’s 4x800 relay won in 10:44.22, with Troy’s Katie Lackey (6:08.08) second in the 1600.


Towanda’s Anna Dunn (1:07.24) won the 400 with teammate Isabelle Larson taking the 800 in 2:31.94. Fellow Knight Melody Hakes was third in 2:45.59.


Larson won the 3200 in 12:59.71, as Dunn took third in the 200 in 28.96.


Troy’s 4x400 relay won in 4:34.27.


Parks won the high jump at 4-feet, 10-inches as Towanda’s Allexys Shaffer (4-feet, 2-inches) tied for second.


Parks took the pole vault at 9-feet with Towanda’s Marin Maynard (8-feet, 6-inches) and Cheyenne Morgan (7-feet, 6-inches) second and third.


Mya Maynard (28-feet, 6 1/2-inches) won the shot put with teammate Gracie Johnson (26-feet, 5-inches) third.


Troy’s Ella Lawton (76-feet, 8-inches) and Emma Mickley (68-feet, 3-inches) went 2-3 in the discus. Trojan Parker Lee (13-feet, 8-inches) was second in the long jump with Towanda’s Brynn Woodruff (13-feet, 4 1/2-inches) third.


Troy’s Maddy Keeney (29-feet, 6-inches) took second in the triple jump.
