Northern Tier Sports Report
Plenty of action for today between all four spring sports.

BASEBALL

Troy (7-2) at Athens (4-5), 4:30 p.m.: Troy pulled out a 2-run win in their first meeting at East Troy. The Trojans have won their last four games.


Canton (8-3) at CV (4-5), 4:30 p.m.: Canton won their first game in a walk-off but CV is coming off a big win over NEB going back to last week.


NEB (7-3) at Williamson (1-10), 4:30 p.m.: NEB has won two in a row, and beat the Warriors 10-0 in their first meeting.


SOFTBALL

Troy (6-1) at Athens (3-4), 4:30 p.m.: Troy pulled out a close win in their opener and are coming off a big double-header win over Wellsboro last week. The Wildcats have won three of their last four.


Canton (4-7) at CV (10-1), 4:30 p.m.: Canton has won their last three of four games as they claw their way back to .500. CV comes in having won their last three.


NEB (5-4) at Williamson (1-7), 4:30 p.m.: Their first game was a 1-run win for the Panthers, who have lost four of their last five. Williamson is coming off a tough loss to Canton.


TRACK & FIELD

Montgomery, NEB, NPM, Wyalusing at Towanda, 3 p.m.: A mini invite at Towanda will have a 3 p.m. start for field events as they try to get everything in.


Wellsboro, Athens at Canton, 4 p.m.: The Warriors host another home meet, this time against two tough opponents in the Hornets and Wildcats.


Sayre, Troy at Williamson, 4 p.m.: A league tri-meet as the Trojan boys look to finish the regular season undefeated.


BOYS’ TENNIS

Galeton (11-2) at Towanda (5-5), 4 p.m.: The Knights will look to stay undefeated as they host the Tigers, who beat them 5-0 earlier in the season.
