COLLEGE: TOWANDA GRAD MAYNARD EARNS AMCC PITCHER OF THE WEEK HONORS (2024-04-29)

Towanda grad Maddie Maynard has earned weekly honors for PSU-Altoona softball.

She was the named the AMCC Pitcher of the Week by going 4-0 in her four starts last week, and helping her team go 4-1 overall. She had a 1.84 ERA over 19-innings with just five earned runs. 

Maynard struck out nine batters while holding the opposing hitters to a .253 average.

She also earned the PSU-Altoona athletics Athlete of the Week honors due to her strong week.

On the season she has a .286 average with 11-RBI with a 7-2 record in the circle.
