COLLEGE: CANTON GRAD WESNESKI PITCHES HOUGHTON TO REGULAR SEASON FINALE WIN (2024-05-02) Northern Tier Sports Report ELMIRA, N.Y. — Canton graduate Keri Wesneski recently helped Houghton to a split against Elmira in Division-III softball action.
Houghton lost the first game 8-7, then won the second 6-4.
In the first game Wesneski was 2-for-4 with two runs scored, while in the second game she went the full 10 innings for the win, striking out four with seven hits, two walks, and four runs, two of which were earned. She went 1-for-5 in the second game at the plate.
Wesneski finished the season batting .242 while going 2-5-1 in the circle with 15 strikeouts.
