NTL TRACK & FIELD: MCROBERTS, CROWLEY PACE CANTON GIRLS AT NTL CHAMPIONSHIPS (2024-05-11)

ATHENS — Canton’s Alexis McRoberts won the discus title at the NTL Track and Field Championships Friday, while Daveian Crowley was a 3-time top three finisher.

McRoberts won the discus in 97-feet, 9-inches while taking fourth in the shot put in 30-feet, 3-inches. Also in the throws Vayda Bryan was eighth in the javelin in 81-feet, 10-inches.

Crowley was second in the 400 in 1:01.83 as teammate Layla Frisbie came in seventh in 1:07.56.

Crowley was third in the 100 (12.71) and the 200 (26.71). Kendall Kitchen took fourth in the pole vault at 8-feet, while their 4x100 relay team was third in 53.59. The 4x400 took seventh in 4:44.70.

The Warriors finished eighth with 51 points.
