NTL TRACK & FIELD: JOHNS, EARLE LEAD WYALUSING TO FIFTH PLACE FINISH AT NTLS (2024-05-11)

ATHENS — The Wyalusing boys came in fifth at the NTL Track and Field Championships on Friday.

The Rams scored 65 points, paced by wins out of Dylan Johns and Jonathan Earle.


Johns won the high jump at 6-feet even, as Earle won the pole vault at 12-feet even.


Josh Stoddard took third in the javelin at 139-feet, 7-inches as Johns was eighth in 122-feet, 2-inches. 


Zibiah Walton came in fourth in the triple jump (40-feet, 4 3/4-inches) and fifth in the long jump (19-feet, 10 1/2-inches).


James Rogan was second in the 110 hurdles at 17.13, as Trennan Tewksbury was sixth in the 1600 (4:42.58) and the 3200 (10:22.32).


Jack Fischer took eight in the 300 hurdles in 47.30.


They also got plenty of points in the relays - the 4x800 was third in 9:08.33, the 4x100 was fourth in 46.89, and the 4x400 came in fifth in 3:55.95.
