AOW: TROY'S PARKS, WYALUSING'S VANDERPOOL HAVE MEMORABLE PERFORMANCES THIS WEEK (2024-05-12)

Games came fast and furious this week as the teams hustle to get them in before the end of the season. On the track the NTL’s best went head to head to determine the top teams in the area.

Despite the wet weather Troy’s Alyssa Parks had a strong day at the NTL Championships. She won the 300 hurdles and high jump, while medaling in the pole vault. She also helped the Trojan 4x400 relay reach the podium to earn the Female Athlete of the Week.

Wyalusing’s Nick Vanderpool went 8-for-15 over four games and a couple extra innings for the week as his team went 4-1. He had four runs scored and 3-RBI, including the game winning hit against Canton, to be the Male Athlete of the Week.
