The Warriors led 1-0 after one but a 6-run second saw Towanda take the lead. Canto used a 2-run top second to cut it to 6-3, but an 8-run bottom half from Towanda put them up for good.

Brooklyn Evans (1-for-4) had a home run with 3-RBI and two runs scored while Leila Cobb (2-for-3) had a double with 2-RBI and three runs scored.

In the first Vroman hit a 2-out single to drive in Ward for Canton’s 1-0 lead.

Towanda would do all of their damage with two outs in the second inning as Brabant reached on an error. She scored two batters later on a Vargason ground out to tie the game up.

Miller then tripled, with Cobb scoring her on a double. Perry and Greenland had back to back singles to score Cobb.

That set up Evan’s 3-run home run, which scored Perry and Greenland’s courtesy runner, Hannah Crawford.

Canton would get two back with two outs in the top of the third as Hugo led off with a double. After two outs Gilbert doubled in Hugo, then Graham drove in Gilbert with a double to make it 6-3.

In the third Towanda would have seven straight batters reach safely as Kunkle got things started with a 1-out single. Vargason then reached on a dropped third strike.

Miller would score Kunkle on a fielder’s choice to make it 7-3. A Cobb hit would bring in Vargason for an 8-3 score.

A Perry single would load the bases, as Greenland drove in Miller on an error off her bat. An error off Evans’ bat would bring in Cobb and Perry to make it 11-3.

After another out Brabant doubled in Crawford - running for Greenland - and Evans for a 13-3 lead.

Two batters later Vargason drove in Brabant to put the Knights up 11.

Towanda added two more runs in the fourth as Cobb and Perry reached on back to back at bats. A Greenland hit wold drive in Cobb to make it 15-3.

After two outs Perry would score on a steal of home for the 16-3 final.
