CANTON — The Canton softball team recently spent practice replacing the flags of all the military veterans buried at the Main Street Cemetery.

Softball coach and member of Canton’s VFW Post 714, Command Sergeant Major, U.S. Army, retired Darryl Jannone thanked the Lady Warriors for completing this time honored task in advance of Memorial Day.
