NTL TRACK & FIELD: TROY'S PARKS COMES UP JUST SHORT OF MEDALS AT STATES (2024-05-24)

SHIPPENSBURG — Troy’s Alyssa Parks just missed the 300 hurdle finals at the PIAA Track and Field Championships on Friday.

Parks finished 12th in 47.04, with eighth running 1.01 seconds ahead of her. Parks was third in her heat with Milton’s Mackenzie Lopez second in 46.03. She ended up taking the eighth spot in Saturday’s finals.


Ben Warburton took 13th in the long jump with a best of 21-feet, 2 3/4-inches. That came on his first attempt.


Troy’s 4x100 relay of Charles Oldroyd, Warburton, Colin Loveland, and Jacob Hinman took 32nd in 45.06.


Avery Sens will be competing in the shot put on Saturday afternoon.
