NTL SOFTBALL: TOWANDA FALLS TO LOYALSOCK IN DISTRICT PLAYOFFS (2024-05-24)

WILLIAMSPORT — Towanda softball dropped a District IV quarterfinal game to Loyalsock, 9-0, on Thursday.

The game was rain delayed from Wednesday in the third inning with the Lancers up 1-0. They would take on five more runs when play resumed on Thursday to go up 6-0. 

They notched three more in the fifth for the 9-0 win.

Caedence Wells (1-for-2) had a double with Shay Greenland (1-for-3) also getting a hit.

Greenland took the loss, going four innings to strike out four with three walks, five hits, and six runs. Aleah Johnson pitched the faint two innings with three strikeouts, no walks, three hits, and three runs.

Towanda finishes the season 11-10.
